Best laid plans

Well that was humbling. After sorting my willow so carefully, soaking exactly the rods I needed and setting time aside to complete the project in one go, I was expecting a marked improvement on my misshapen basket. Alas, my new waste paper basket is an even stranger shape (might have made a half decent bicycle basket??)

I guess I just need more practice - happily we need lots of waste baskets! And it was still fun.
