Roe Deer

In the garden, very early this morning. As we opened the curtains we could see two in the garden. They are regular visitors but, sadly, one of them seemed to be having trouble walking around in the snow. After nibbling on the trees, bushes they sat down for awhile.

Early start to get our visitors on the slopes before the crowds arrived. The snow was in excellent condition and we had a great ski for the morning then we left them to it.

I was also invited by a friend for a late birthday present , afternoon tea at the newly renovated Villars Palace hotel. What a treat. I think we brought away more than we ate as there was so much food on the stands. I also had a tour of the public areas as my son, apprentice carpenter, had worked on the renovation and I wanted to see his handiwork.
