This is for you Dad!

My dear Dad passed away 10 years ago this coming June. He had cancer for 5 years and was getting rather bored being poorly. Mum suggested he write down some of his life story which he did. He’d spent time in Guernsey during World War II and after the war joined the RAF. Thankfully his handwriting wasn’t too bad so I managed to read it and type it up (10 years after he wrote it!!). It amounted to 62 pages! I found photos to enhance things he wrote. Some I googled as I didn’t know what or where they were. He served in Palestine and worked in the parachute section. He loved his time in the RAF and often spoke of it. Miss you Dad!
