Blackness Castle

Lovely afternoon walk from Abercorn to Blackness Castle, making it back to the car just as darkness started to set in. Sunset is about 4.30pm but the light lingered on until 5pmish. The days are getting longer, hooray!

This morning we had an explore of Winton Estate. We were actually heading for the woods at East Saltoun but we couldn’t find anywhere to park.

Plan B was Winton Estate, parking at Boggs Holding Village Hall. All new exploring.

I nipped in to use the toilet as the door was open, an exercise class going full pelt with music lifting the rafters. Love Village Halls. This one has a website. https://boggscommunity.wordpress.com/
