Paradiddles
It's been a bit of a dull day weather-wise. I made up for my early morning yesterday by having a lie-in. Ann went out for a walk and I pottered around a bit then made a curry which we'll have for tea.
After lunch we took the tow path to The Commandery, closed until next month, and went to our new favourite watering hole, Paradiddles. We spent a pleasant time over coffee, the atmosphere is very inviting, and the music is good.
Note: I discovered, via Google, that the term 'paradiddles' refers to a specific drum beat that originated with the English in the 16th or 17th century. So very suitable for a music cafe/bar venue.
