I set up my camera so that I could try some wildlife photography while I did our Big Garden Birdwatch.
It wasn't a huge success... first of all, the children in the garden on one side played an enthusiastic game of 'how loud can we get our dog to bark'. Then the children in the garden on the other side played an even more enthusiastic game of 'lets run around and scream at the top of our voices'. And finally, my sister rang for a natter.
So I all managed were several house sparrows, a great tit, a blue tit and some not very good images!
Don't get me wrong, after a long period while both neighbouring houses were empty, I love hearing the sound of people living nearby - just not in that particular hour!
