Sharing a field.

This is not a 'pit pony', it just happens to be in a field where the wheel from the top of a mine shaft has been preserved for decades. There were many coal mines in and around the area in which I live, but they are long gone and the land has been reclaimed and cultivated. Now and again, like today, I come across things that remind me of the history of the area.
