The Meeting Place , Gravesend

A great place for a Mug of Coffee and a chat .
Definitely worth a visit , firstly due to the fact it is in Gravesend's Heritage Quarter , and secondly due to the fact that it is staffed by Kasbah's service users , as a means of engaging them with the workplace .

Kasbah , originally set up as a charity/help organisation by a group of parents of children with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus in 1966 , now provides services any young vulnerable adult between the ages of 18-35 who have a physical and/or learning disability.

Localsm at it's best.
