after a few days on the windowsill in the sunshine, the sunflower seeds have started to emerge... wonder how many of the 54 planted will germinate?

perhaps i should have set a time lapse camera to record the unfolding and emerging? maybe a project for another year...

starting them off inside this year - and have plenty of slug pellets at the ready for the planting out stage - those pesky critters won't be feasting on our sunflower crop this year, no sirree...
