Nick off!

In keeping with my bird theme this week, it was back to our trusty old bird feeder off the deck. It did not take long for me to get lucky, as a pair of Rainbow Lorikeets soon landed on the feeder. Even while they were eating they were chattering away most of the time.

A short time later this hungry pigeon arrived. He moved from side to side, edging ever closer. However 2 against one is always going to mean a loser, and they soon told this poor guy to nick off! Good old Aussie slang for "get lost". I was able to grab this image of the 3 of them as hungry pigeon got his marching orders. He did come back later when the lorikeets had left.
