Dearly Love

I would dearly love one of these deer in my garden: a wicker one, a rusty metal one, or a real one. The price they are I'm most likely to get a real one!

#2 Daughter discovered a new garden centre for us to visit, New Hopetoun Gardens up near South Queensferry. It was lovely. At this time of year,  the flowering plants were mainly hellebores but that was alright, I found 2 that I don't have so purchases were made.

The shop and restaurant were very nice, too so we spent the whole day there. I was also tempted to buy bulbs for the garden. No, not daffodils or crocuses, wrong time of year. I mean a string of solar-powered outdoor lightbulbs, the twee sort The Man could never have imagined me choosing.

I can't wait to try them out!
