Double Camouflage

Chamois of course, and Rock Partridges which I hadn’t seen until I downloaded the chamois photos from Leysin this morning! I’ve only seen these rare birds twice before. They are on the red list of endangered species in Switzerland. Their rock-coloured plumage makes them extremely well camouflaged and lets them become one with the rocks and boulders of their habitat. A challenge … can you see three of them? I shall be back to try and spot them from a closer viewpoint, an older photo of these beautiful birds in extra.

Out for a school reunion now, the students who left 20 years ago.
