Nose

Mr Perkins had a scabby nose. The vet biopsied the lesion, but found nothing conclusive, and it didn’t particularly respond to antibiotics or steroids.

I sent the vet many photos of Mr Perkins’ nose over the next months. By Christmas, the scab was gone, but there were still brown marks on Mr Perkins’ nose. The vet said he’d like to see Mr Perkins in person cat in January.

I took Mr Perkins today. He was confused because they’ve moved since he last visited, then all became clear.

The vet cleaned Mr Perkins’ nose with some wet cotton wool. Mr Perkins did not like having his nose cleaned with wet cotton wool.

The verdict was that he’s not ill; he’s just mucky.

He needs to stop sticking his nose in whatever he sticks his nose in, otherwise his nose will have to be cleaned with wet cotton wool, and we all know what he thinks of that.
