Sunflowers …

We had rain early this morning; 6.5mms. I woke at 6am to hear it falling on the roof. What a huge relief. It’s not enough for the gardens but it will knock back the fire risks for now.

I visited an old friend in Queenstown this morning, and with two others from the Village at the Café as well, we had a lovely chatty time. The café itself is part of store that has an emphasis on freshness & quality. It’s a delightful place to shop.
