The James Craig (coming last)
I took mum to have a look at the Tall Ships race in Sydney harbour. The harbour was full of people out on boats but then again the weather was glorious if not a tad hot. This was the barque, the James Craig, restored and generally moored around at the Maritime Museum precinct in Darling Harbour. I am not sure of the other ships that were in "the race" - it seemed more like a stroll to me - but there were also some heritage steam ships.
I have put some of the other ships, crazy flags and house decorations up in the extras.
Happy Straya day to those who celebrate it. A nod to those survivors of Invasion day.
