Briefest Glimpse

After a day of snow which plastered the sides of trees, I eventually braved the elements. Most shots were spoiled by wind blowing the few remaining leaves around, leaving them blurry. It was also quite dull, until I got the sense light levels had risen slightly and looked up to see the briefest glimpse of sun warming the clouds. I took my chance.

I had to raise exposure almost two stops in post because I had shot to protect the highlights. Worked out I think.
