A Three Tick Walk
I set off for a local walk this morning with the forecast showing 5% chance of rain. It was 95% wrong. As I got to the top of the hill I saw a large rain cloud racing towards me propelled by a Northerly wind. As it hit my face, I decided to turn round and go home, but then I thought - it could change again just as quickly I should plough on. I’m glad I did, as it did indeed brighten up. There wasn’t a lot of wildlife around, except in one small area, where I saw a solitary Redwing, and close by, as I tried to follow the antics of a Goldcrest, a skein of chattering Pink-footed Geese flew over
