Thursday: Abode for a Toad

will appreciate their new home?! Checked this afternoon and no one has moved in yet …
The SISKINS ARE BACK … I’ve been very worried because I always expect to see Siskins in January but I was checking on the bird feeders from an upstairs window and there they were :-))
At lunch time I could see lots of “midges” flying over the plants opposite the window, it was a very mild day with blue sky - it soon cooled down after sunset. It’s 4°C now as I watch “Winterwatch” …
