Morning walk

As it was a lovely sunny day we decided to walk to Bowness park along the river for a coffee and maybe lunch.
Stopped on the way to talk to folk and watch the grade 6 school kids have their physical education lesson. They came from Cochran which is not far from Calgary to the park as it has outdoor skating on the boating lake, a skating circle which the council created and a Crockicurl which is a cross between curling and crochet.
So the collage has given you a flavour of our day. There is a notice by the lake giving the condition of the ice and today it was safe. The Bow river was also frozen but I wouldn’t risk walking on it
