Booked

Had confirmation from first two sites booked for our April trip and already planned three walks involving getting trains and buses.
Traffic good today but weather a bit wet. Called in to visit my sister in Darlington on the way so we were later getting to the cottage. Quick walk to stretch our legs and by the time we got back kitchen was warm with the wood burner on.
Hubby drove from Darlington so that I could finish my book, and did so just as we reached the village. What a brilliant read, best book I have read for a while. One of the walks I want to do starts in the village that the book is based in.
Sisters was fun as she had two of her many granddaughters visiting, both toddlers and chasing each other round.
