Red sky in the morning

Maybe.
But the blaze of early morning colour was really welcome. And, slowly but surely, the light is lasting longer at the end of the afternoon.
Recently Richard and I have watched both the new 'All Quiet on the Western Front', and the Ken Burns documentary series on the US and the Holocaust.  Both wonderful, and both with added resonance as we watch the war in Ukraine continue, in all its horror.

All of the Ken Burns documentaries that we've seen have been extraordinary, from his work on the history of the American West, through one on Prohibition and more recently another about Muhammad Ali.  Highly recommended, if you don't know them already.
