Wintry scene near Middleton Hall

A day for sorting things.

Banked membership cheques.
Had my squashed reading glasses put back together.
Found some bavette steak at my favourite butchers.

And then strolled along near Middleton Hall. It’s very bleak and messy at the minute, and it kept trying to rain. Lots of clearing, chopping, tidying and maintenance was going on.

The lake is so picturesque but today it looked as harsh as the rest of the scene. But I rather liked the reflections.
