Woods

I took a short stroll today in the woods near my house. I only moved 6 months ago so am delighting in the changing appearance of the woods as the leaves grow. I stopped for a few moments just to listen to the bird song and watch a squirrel up a high tree. The squirrel didn't seem to keen on me being there and started what I can only describe as barking at me. Each time he made this odd noise, his tail thrashed up and down. I took lots of photos with my Hipstamatic app, sometimes choosing the combination of film, lens and paper effect at random. I particularly liked this shot as it really brought out the effect of the late afternoon sun shining through the trees.
