A and E

Sarah had a real funny turn this morning, she woke up with severe back pain and then blacked out - I was pretty sure it was a vagal response but checked with 111 and they wanted her to go to A and E for tests.

We live across the road from the hospital, less than a five minute walk so we managed that - we were in and out in under an hour, infection and neurological causes ruled out, probably a back sprain (we’ve no idea how) and vagal response to pain. I thought we’d be there all day, we were so incredibly lucky and the staff there were fantastic. I know we caught the department at a quiet moment but still we are eternally grateful for our NHS. Don’t let the Tories sell it off by stealth!
