In the Captain's Seat

If I only had a boat,
just think what I could do.
I'd troll around the open sea,
catch many fish, not few.

How do you think I look,
as I pose upon the chair?
I think I'll just sit pretty,
before returning to my lair.

I waited and waited and waited,
but a birdie I did not get.
