Slow thaw

A warner day today although very dull. The ice on the canal has nearly all thawed and the patterns of ice and water made for a nice photo. The boat with the fake heron on is still there, it arrived before Christmas. Mr neighbourhood watch next door has written to the authorities but they pretty much told him to mind his own business!!
Burns Night tonight meant haggis and mash for dinner. No tot of scotch whisky for us though, it’s a drink neither of us like.
