Icky Weather

We've had rain all day. It did start with little pellets of ice, but then turned to rain. I'm grateful for that, but it certainly has been - and still is - gloomy.

Downy woodpecker on the left, female northern cardinal above, male northern cardinal below, on the right. The downy is a female - we'd be able to see a little red on the back of the head if it were a male (even from the side like this).
