Bishop Loch

I returned to the Seven Loch Trail, on my own, and successfully reccied the route in reverse, starting in Drumpelier Country Park. This works really well with a useful coffee stop at the Visitor Centre and a lunch stop in Auchenlea Park near the temporarily closed Provan Hall.
The blip is one of the three lochs you walk around or close by, with the former Gartcosh Psychiatric Hospital, at its peak it supported 830 patients.  It was designed by the son of Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson which  now I know is self evident.
Plans made to spend an autumn week on Arran with J and P, neatly circumventing the Glasgow Ramblers annual weekend away in the same accommodation.
