Fish

On Saturday when the temperatures were really low Mums’ pond was totally frozen over with about and inch of ice at least. I realised to my horror that her much beloved fish ( about 14 - 15 years old we reckon) was frozen in the ice with its tail sticking out. I decided not to tell her yet but today went out to remove ( as I thought) the dead fish from the now thawed pond. Imaging my surprise to see it swimming around perfectly happily!!!!
