DEAD OR ALIVE?

Angus & I took a really long walk today,
where we saw this small (TINY?) leafless
TREE. I am hoping it is a native Sycamore tree, & will leaf out in a few months, after all our rain.

A long time ago I read that a dead standing tree is beneficial to birds, insects & lots of other wild animals. So, if it is dead, it will have its role to play.

In any case, this TREE is pointing to a very steep trail that winds around up & above my house. I bet it is beautiful up there right now, so green & lush.

It was a gorgeous day, sunny & 72F (22.2C),
with just a cool breeze.
