Woodland Gate

After a busy morning we decided on a trip to Dalby for a walk around the Bridestones.

We arrived just as two coaches offloaded a group of sixth formers on a field trip. Fortunately they didn’t go far stopping short of the walk we were traversing. Apart from that we saw no one. Care was needed in places as ice still remained where people had compacted the snow.

Rather liked the view as we re-entered the wood on the descent back to the car.
