So, Biologist died this morning. Patricia had declined a lot in the past week or so, and when I saw her yesterday she was in a condition that I'm glad she didn't have to endure for long. So, death was a release for her.

Blipfoto provided real quality in her life and, starting aged 83 when she and John moved to Edinburgh, she made 1757 entries! At first it was an escape from caring for John, who was already suffering from dementia. Then, after he died in 2019, it was an escape from loneliness. With her own mental facilities declining, she stopped being able to post in summer 2022.

Thanks to you all for the responses you gave to her posts: they meant a lot to her.
