Balancing Act...

An early start for us today as we had to be ready for the decorator showing up  before 8!  He has spent most of today rubbing down the walls and paintwork, while being fuelled by cups of tea made by my mum!   So it's been quite weird being restricted to a couple of rooms downstairs so a lot of the time has been spent watching the antics in the garden - this squirrel got first dibs on the feeder when I refilled it!

We did get out this morning for some food shopping on Canvey and then a cold wander around the nature reserve where there were zero birds!! Not even a stirring! Don't blame them for staying in the warm or disappearing to find the sunshine elsewhere as the grey skies were so gloomy today!!

So now it's play catch up time online and then think about an early night so we're ready to go again tomorrow lol
