Cass

5 degrees in Leeds, snowing in Devon, 28 degrees in Vilnius.

Full on day teaching, topped and tailed by an early morning run through a quiet city and a drink and chat in the sun with Cass and Sue, my fellow teachers and Tom, Sue's husband who has joined us for this trip.

Cass pictured here might be an age or two younger but she more than makes up with her attention to detail and considerable laugh contribution, she also scowls at me when I need scowling at, but in a kindly way. A star rising.

We then ate out in our favourite restaurant where I declined a half metre long sausage served with a metre of ale, zepplins with meat and boiled pigs trotters and ears and settled for beer soup followed by "a world of sausage" (bangers x 5 types and mash). Nice food all round and thoughtful beer menu to compliment it.
