Another discussion

JJ went to golf so I decided to go up the country park for a bit of a wander.  

It was a beautiful morning, still, bright, chilly, but I wrapped up warm and headed across the meadow, which is always quiet.

Several birds on the river, which is still fast flowing but I liked the antics of these two cormorants up a tree.

The smaller lakes are frozen solid but the main lake has a little open water, and the mallards came scuttling across the ice to see if I had anything.  I felt bad that I hadn't thought to buy some duck food to bring for them.  See extra
