Last orchid

My orchid had a repeat flowering of just one bloom. This tiny flower has been in my kitchen for months. The greenery is a tiny succulent I pinched from my son’s place while I was there today feeding the cat.

We have Maddy and Leo here tonight. They have been away a lot for these summer holidays so it’s nice to see them.

For lunch a friend came around between clients. We worked together in the 1990s and again in another organisation and program before I retired. We hadn’t seen each other since before Covid so had some catching up to do.
