Evening Steps

On my way to Monday night football, after last week was called off when the 'all weather' surface couldn't cope with the frosty weather. Uneven numbers so we were seven versus their eight. Although we scored first they soon made the extra man tell and it seemed one way traffic for a bit as they went 4-1 up. But then we, and our two young strikers in particular,  started to get our act together and came back to take the lead. The other team then levelled and went ahead again but we pulled them back and ran out winners by three in the end. I didn't score but had a couple of assists as well as creating a few chances that might have been converted on another day.
