Please send Welsh cakes and Woodbines

A cold and bleak day, so I chose to go back to the family history file and at last spend time reading about my Great Uncle Bill, who died at the Battle of the Somme.  I have some of the letters that he sent home to Briton Ferry in South Wales in 1915, in which he asks for certain foods to be sent to him, but more importantly to remember his 'smokes'.  His last letters were written in May and June 1916 and are very descriptive of life in the trenches.
