The Thyssen Collection

A very long day, and now back safely in Auld Reekie. The day started with a visit to what must be the best art collection in the world the Thyssen-Bornemisza collection which is of unremitingly high quality with never a dull moment. We spent two hours there before heading for lunch and the airport - one really needs to spend a day to see the collection properly. The highlight foe me was the Rene Magritte's Key to the Fields (above).
