Airport Rainbow

I thought that this was an interesting contrast... a rainbow, the sign of peace, but I could only see it through a fence that was edged with barbed wire. It reminded me of some quotations that I sometimes see some of the more right-wing Americans quote; things like "You can have peace, and you can have liberty, but not necessarily both". In some ways I tend to dismiss these opinions as extremist, but at the same time they are hard to argue against.

Anyway, this fence is protecting the Ingliston showground and beyond that, Edinburgh Airport. I am using that airport to visit Stevenage for a couple of days for work. The rainbow is only protecting its pot of gold, which I singularly failed to find.
