Evening Walkers…

…… along the foreshore. A King tide here today…. An extremely high tide mark. Margaret, James and I drove to Nelson (City) today. We stopped for lunch in Mapua and then had a stroll around the waterfront settlement on the edge of the Waimea Estuary. Lots of kids jumping off the wharves. Great fun. There were plenty of people about browsing in the shops and eateries. There are hundreds of treasures to be found in the shops. Then on to Nelson. It is a lovely city full of sunshine and light…. A relaxed feel about the place. We visited a lovely relative, Beryl. She is a very wise elderly lady. Back to Kaiteriteri via Richmond. It’s very cool here tonight. A welcome change from days of very warm weather. I took a brief stroll down at the beachfront. People were still out and about in the twilight.
