Low, low Lake levels

Unfortunately, that smattering of rain I wrote about on yesterdays Blip , is exactly that. The rain came to absolutely nothing, so things are still very parched.

Frida and I walked by the lake around Eely Point before my balance class this morning. I was really disappointed to see how low the lake levels are.
We are allowed to use sprinklers from 12pm to 6am - so fortunately, we have some timers and can move hoses around each night. Our grass is very crunchy and brown. I did give it a mow yesterday. Which mainly clipped of the flowers from weeds.

Another day has passed by quickly - we had a super swim in the lake- Frida adores it, and we do do. Hope to catch up with your photos this evening.
