Pantomime Interval

Village pantomimes are definitely the most fun. Scripted by retired surgeon (also Ugly Sister) , directed by local publican, (also Ghost- Buster1) sound effects by the village electrician, lights by the lad who's been doing them since he was 14 ( and now does them for the film industry), interval refreshments by the lass over the way raising funds to go to the Galapagos, costumes begged, borrowed and requisitioned and a cast brim full of enthusiasm, if not talent.  
A full house for all three performances in the Institute and an audience primed to cheer, boo, chant the magic word, direct the cast to 'Look behind You' and refute all statements of 'Oh yes it is' with 'Oh no it isn't' . 
And despite nerves, lost lines, coughs and colds and missed cues, a fairy-tale ending for Cinderella and Prince Charming.
