Looking towards Manchester airport from Styl .

Rather than drive to the airport in the dark we decided to make an afternoon of it and visit Quarry Bank Mill . It’s a National Trust property about ten minutes from the airport , as we are members if the National Trust, but don’t often get to use our cards, we felt really pleased to make use of them .
We now have the Chesterlings under our roof for a couple of days which will give us a chance to hear about all their Swedish adventures in detail.
We have watched two feel good films this week which I would heartily recommend to you ,
We watched George Ezra walk, with two of his friends, from Lands End to John O’Groats . It’s Called “End to End ,” and was really uplifting. It’s on Amazon Prime .,
The other film was in Netflix and called “Bank of Dave .” A very sweet film based on a chap from Burnley who had the idea of starting a bank .It was fascinating .
Both worth watching .
A new week ahead , hope it’s a good one .

My gratitude today was for
A kind husband who followed me down the motorway as we drove the cars to the airport ( I don’t like being by myself in the car on a long journey.

An unexpected hug with our daughter and granddaughter as she popped by .

Listening to Florence describing some of her adventures in the land of snow .

I could go on …….
