Love Denied

We went to a produce market that also has a small petting zoo off to the side.  The only animals in it(that I saw) were some baby goats and a few giant turtles.  The guy in the bottom of the picture is separated from the object of his affections (she's at the top of the shot).  The plank fence between them is ringed with small dead vegetation because he is in constant motion trying to find a break in the barrier.
     For her part she's digging like crazy.  I don't know if she's making a nest or trying to pull off her own "great escape".
