In the willow house

We planned to go to the zoo on Saturday, but when it was still barely above freezing at 11am we decided to wait until a warmer day for a long outdoor excursion. Instead we stayed in and decided to walk down to the park today instead.

We went to see if the overflow ditch was frozen, and found some school friends and former school friends (who moved schools because their little sister couldn't get in to the same school - long story) so Matthew played with Edward and Aran (who don't seem to kind he's the same age as their older sisters Bethan and Tamsin) poking the ice with sticks and generally getting grubby. No-one fell in, lots of fun was had, and we came home via the climbing frame.

Otherwise the weekend has featured lots of modded minecraft (today I found a duck!) and lots of youtube (matthew) and painting (me). Very chilled out.
