Inspired by a memory for faces.

We went to the Cornish Bakery in Keswick today for coffee and a cake. I had been there before in the Autumn and knew that the pain au raisin was particularly tasty - in fact, I had told the shop assistant so. Much to my surprise she recognised me. She said that she couldn’t remember names but never forgot a face. I’m no good at names or faces. What a useful talent for a shop assistant to possess!
