Two for the price of one

The Christmas flowering cactus was a bit late and didn’t show any colour until the beginning of January. The tulips were one  of the gifts that R brought yesterday, there are more flowers and chocolates, which may appear in my journal depending on what other choices I have. 

Amber and I have been tired today, we missed our rest yesterday. I made a list in the vain hope that it would help me get on with essential things and not get distracted. 

We are still having negative temperatures at night and hard frosts in the morning, but late afternoon when we went out to walk Amber the paths were dry, no sign of frost at all for a change.
