Thank you cards
Busy Sunday Jobs:
cleaning; washing; walking and
thank you letters too.
It was a better night's sleep from Ben, so that was good. It's hard work slotting Leo into all our rigid routines but he's such a sweetie and he's definitely settling in.
Mr KCNQ2Haiku and Ben had a walk in the morning but it was very icy, then we did some jobs before lunch. I was expecting some carers to come at 2 to talk about support they can offer for Ben but unfortunately they had to cancel due to an unforeseen emergency, that was a shame but hopefully they'll come in the week. Ben was very disappointed that they cancelled but we went for a walk in the woods and sort of distracted him. This time I had Leo in the sling and he was such a wriggle bottom, he really wanted to get out and have a sniff around. He gets really shivery and worried when he sees another dog though. One woman was walking four big dogs and they came right up to sling, inches away from him, I was reassuring him and we gave him a treat but I can imagine it must have been quite an experience!
When we got home it was time (finally) for Ben to do some thank you letters for Christmas and Birthday presents. I let him just type out a few words and then I'll glue them into cards with a little explanatory note from me! He signed them all of "yours sincerely Ben.B" Very formal!
The photo is rubbish but it shows the mayhem of a Sunday! The table has papers and poo bags and of course Ben's fabulous Renault Master coasters that he had for his birthday!!
