Binns Tower

Decided after lunch to go to House of Binns to see if the snowdrops were out. They certainly are coming , but will be at their best in a couple of weeks. We walked up to Binns Tower and stood and admired the views all around.

Popped over to see Joyce ( who is relatively housebound) and was amused that she could tell me I had a washing out the other day!! Apparently one of her neighbours had passed by on one of those frosty afternoons and was rather aghast that I had hung my washing out with no hope of getting it dry. I explained to Joyce that on that particular day I did get it dry because the sun was shining on it and there was a drying wind! :) :) Quite amazing what folk get to talk about.
